About Us

Boru Press specialises in content for Further Education, College, University & Professional Training courses in Ireland. Boru was founded in 2018 by two publishing professionals with over forty years' experience producing exceptional educational content between them. 

With over 25 years of experience in academic publishing and retail sectors, Marion is passionate about working closely with Boru Press authors to curate top-quality material for third level learners in Ireland.

To date Marion has successfully published over 50 bestselling titles for the further education sector (levels 5-6), in the areas of Childcare, Business, Healthcare and Information Technology.  She has also published in excess of 80 key titles for third level education sector (levels 7-9 ) in the areas of Business, Law and Humanities, many of which were market leaders and were published in multiple editions.

Marion holds a B.BS. (with a major in Marketing) and an MBA from the University of Limerick as well as a H.Dip. in eLearning from National College of Ireland.

Drawing on over 18 years experience working for top educational publishers in both the UK and Ireland, Anna is an accomplished publishing professional. Committed to producing the highest quality books for our customers, Anna works closely with Boru Press editors, designers and printers to transform our authors' manuscripts into finished books.

Anna holds a B.A. in English & History from University College Dublin and an MPhil. in Publishing Studies from the University of Stirling.
